Bali Vacation Travel Guide

The beautiful province of Bali lies between the islands of Java and Lombok.

The south of Bali is known for its sandy beaches and great surf. The crescent-shaped Kuta Beach has been a popular coastal resort since the 1960s. Legian, Double Six and Seminyak are three more of south Bali’s finest beaches.

Close to Seminyak is Petitenget Temple. Today, this centuries-old place of worship is alive with restaurants and fashion boutiques. Uluwatu is another of Bali’s temple, this one perched dramatically atop a cliff.

In the west of Bali is Jimbaran, renowned for its seafood restaurants.

Bali is awash with exotic wildlife. Bali Bird Park is a sanctuary to over 1000 birds from Indonesia and beyond. Bali Zoo gives visitors the chance to ride on the back of an elephant. The Sacred Monkey Forest is another enchanting Bali wildlife hotspot.

Bali’s cultural capital Ubud buzzes with culture; attractions include the Neka Art and Puri Lukisan museums, and the Arma Museum.
