Honey Mustard Pork

Crockpot honey mustard pork is a delicious and easy recipe that requires little effort.

 

Lower Calorie Slow Cooked Honey Mustard Pork

  • 4 – 5 lb pork shoulder
  • Fry light
  • 2 tbsp wholegrain mustard
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp rosemary
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 pork stock cube
  • 50 mls boiling water

 

Method

Method

  1. Cut the fat off the pork and set aside.
  2. Spray the pork with frylight and rub the rosemary and garlic onto the pork.
  3. Mix together the honey and mustard and spread on the top.
  4. Turn slow cooker to high.
  5. Mix up the stock using the cube and water and pour into the bottom of the clow cooker. It should only be enough to stop the meat from drying on and sticking during cooking.
  6. Put the meat in the pot and replace the lid.
  7. Slow cook for at least 7 hours.
  8. Remove the lid and cook for a further hour, basting occasionally.
  9. Carefully remove (it will fall off the bone and be very tender) the pork and carve.

Serving suggestion: Fine greens, baby carrots and butternut squash chips.
