Set in the picturesque, deeply fissured hillside of the Parnass, Delphi is where over 2000 years ago the Greeks sought spiritual advice from the god Apollo, who they believed spoke to them through an oracle. Delphi was home to the Amphictyonic League, the most important of the Greek city states, and was also the location of the Pythian Games.
