For those looking to experience the festivals behind a country’s culture, a visit to Bad Hofgastein, Austria is a good place to start. From May 2013 through the summer months there are a variety of festivals all with something a little different to offer.

Located within the Gastein Valley, Bad Hofgastein is perfect for those who want to explore whilst still having authentic cafes and shops, with marked footpaths off on either side of the village through woodlands up into the surrounding mountains.
