Athens has so much history and culture from the Parthenon that overlooks the city to the Marble Stadium where the first modern Olympic Games were held. Don’t forget to visit the new Acropolis Museum. It’s also a city with lots of activity, such as Plaka where you’ll find many cafes, restaurants and shops and friendly people.

In Part 2 the Minister of Tourism shares an insight into Greece’s culture and history. Athens is a metropolis with lots of activities and a modern airport with an Acropolis Museum on the second floor. The museum exhibits samples of what you’ll see at the New Acropolis Museum. The Sofitel Hotel is across the street from the airport, which makes it convenient for all travellers.
