Las Vegas Vacation Travel Guide

Las Vegas is perhaps most famous for the many themed casino resorts lining The Strip, such as Caesar’s Palace or the Luxor. Each of these vast, self-contained resorts offers its own shows, shopping, casinos and restaurants.

Some big attractions are the dancing fountain show at Bellagio or the beach clubs at Mandalay Bay and The Mirage resorts.

Stunning natural scenery including the Valley of Fire and the Grand Canyon, just a few hours’ drive away, provides a break from the neon city lights.

As night-time descends on the desert, Las Vegas really comes to life. As well as the glitzy shows on the Strip, down town Fremont Street offers old-school cocktail lounges, piano bars and classic casinos.
