Touring Europe – The Rhine

Try a wonderful cruise along the romantic Rhine river starting in Amsterdam and travelling through to Basel in Switzerland. Like so many of the rivers in central Europe, the Rhine begins its life as a stream high in the Swiss Alps. Once it reaches the city of Basel, the river widens and continues its course toward the North Sea.

The Rhine has many castles and palaces, as well as the Lorelei – the rock steeped in myth and legend.
