Canadian Pacific Holiday Train
Canadian Pacific has been running a Holiday Train along its main line since 1999. This happens during the months of November and December. The Canadian Holiday Train travels across Canada and the United States to raise funds and food items for various organizations. The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train departs from Montreal each year, inspiring over 150 communities to donate to their local food banks and bring in the festive season. Although rides are not open to the public you can go along to see it.
What to expect
The train arrives and pulls to a safe stop in front of the crowd. The stage door lowers and the band opens with its first song. After that, a brief presentation takes place and once complete, the band resumes performing a mix of traditional and modern holiday-themed songs. The whole event lasts about 30 minutes and then the train slips off to the next stop.
