Kettle Valley Steam Railway

If you are ever in Eastern British Columbia you must visit the historic Kettle Valley Steam Railway. Located in Summerland, it is the only heritage railway in the Okanagan Valley.

Driven by the prospect for a better life with the discovery of mineral deposits and a blossoming fruit industry, the railway was an important service for the region during those early days. The Kettle Valley Steam Railway operates on the only remaining portion of the historic Kettle Valley Railway which was built between 1910-1915.
