This is a super easy method for grilling or baking fish, it is pretty foolproof, and you can use any fresh fish that’s available to you in your area. These easy fish packets in foil are perfect for grilling or baking in the oven.

 

How To Bake Or Grill Fish In Foil

  • 4 fish fillets, about 5 oz each
  • 4 tsp olive oil
  • salt and fresh pepper, to taste
  • 4 sprigs fresh herbs (parsley, rosemary, oregano)
  • 1 lemon, sliced thin
  • 4 large pieces heavy duty aluminum foil, about 18 to 20 inches long

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Place the fish in the centre of the foil, season with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Place a slice of lemon on top of each piece of fish, then a sprig of herbs on each.
  4. Fold up the edges so that it’s completely sealed and no steam will escape, creating a loose tent.
  5. Place the parcels on a baking sheet.
  6. Depending on the thickness of your fish, cook for 20 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and cooked through.
  7. Or you could put them in the grill at medium heat and cook them for 20 minutes.
